High Rise Arm

Minimum 3' 4"                     Maximum 7' 10"

This new High Rise Arm is adjustable in length to almost 8 feet high. It can carry and fire a 20 mm recoilless disrupter or function like the standard arm by installing the hand/wrist assembly.  In addition to the adjustable length, this arm provides tilt for the disrupter mount and a shoulder "elevate" function. This arm fits on the standard MURV-100 vehicle. This arm makes it possible for the MURV-100 to open and inspect inside the overhead storage compartments on commercial aircraft.

Control Console Case with Flat Panel Video Receiver

This control console configuration permits swift deployment of the robot and control console.  The console contains the standard robot control panel, a flat panel video receiving unit.   The bright display makes it easy for the operator to see what the robot "sees". A tilt-up transmitting antenna platform enhances control range.

Elbow Function

The elbow function permits the robot to reach below the surface the vehicle is on and to reach into places not possible with the standard arm.  The elbow has 180 degrees of motion.

Add-on Track System for MURV-100

The MRV-295 Track System gives the standard MURV-100 Robot the maneuvering capability previously found only on the large, heavy, and very expensive robots. This track system permits the MURV-100 to easily climb and descend stairs. This track system significantly enhances the robot’s ability to handle rough terrain such as mud, large rocks and other large obstacles.

This track system is a 100% mechanical add-on accessory item for the MURV-100; it contains no electronics. The manipulator arm, turntable, fiber optic control, x-ray carrier, and most all of the other popular accessory items for the MURV-100 will work while the tracks are installed.

The MRV-260 Robot Carried Articulated Disrupter Arm works even better with the track system installed. The Disrupter Carrier and Charge Dropper accessories will work but require simple modification to work with this track system.

The MRV-295 Track System is quickly installed and removed from the standard MURV-100 robot vehicle.  The wheels are removed from the robot and the robot is set on the base between the tracks.  A simple sprocket assembly is slid onto the two rear robot axles and the drive chain is connected to the sprockets.  The robot slides into a retainer bracket on the front and two retaining screws are installed.   That simple!

The photos on this page show our prototype unit that has treads we assembled in our shop from existing material. A company specializing in treads is manufacturing the treads on the production units to our specifications.
